Full Service Interior Design
Whether it's your first new build or another remodel, this is for you if you want to get it right - from the start.
THE LBD EXPERIENCE
A one-to-one concierge design service featuring trade-only vendors, tailored to you with a 16-step design process to take you from concept to completion. Working closely with your real estate agent, we'll look at properties for you together from the start. Visiting houses to remodel or (more commonly) tear down.
We'll interview architects once you've decided on a property (and own it) and work together to create your dream home design concept and get the plans drawn up for you. We'll figure out how to work with the city for the permits you'll need, line up your vetted-vendors, and be on-site on a regular basis to see your project through to completion - from start to finish.
The LBD experience is a four-phase process

RESEARCHBegin with a thorough questionnaire. To confirm fit, we'll meet virtually. A paid site visit and scope of work presentation follow. Your initial design investment and a contract officially begin our engagement. Project kickoff and client interviews follow.

DEVELOPMENTOn "Trade Day," we'll choose your vetted-by-me vendors and execute your floor plans, elevations, and sourcing. I'll make your design presentation, we'll make revisions and adjustments (as needed), and get your final design approval.

PROCUREMENTAs the preliminary stages of building and/or renovation get underway, I will start by placing your orders. As it goes on, I will continue to receive orders and make in-person site visits to ensure everything in your design is implemented as planned.

INSTALLATIONOnce construction is complete, it's time to install your furniture and complete your accessories, styling and staging your space for your big reveal (the fun part!). We'll also make a punch list and resolve any and all deficiencies quickly.

Just want to remodel your primary bedroom and bathroom suite? Great, let’s do that! Maybe you already started with a designer and it didn’t work out? I can help. You moved into a beautiful house and only need furnishings? I do that, too.
Modified Interior Design
Not in the Columbus area? I can travel to be on-site with you, or we can design virtually. I’ll send you design concepts and shop-able pages with retail links for fixtures, finishes, and furniture and you’ll handle procurement and installation.
Remote Interior Design
It's easy to put together a look book of pretty pictures of colors and fixtures and appliances. Not that just anybody can do that - that's one part of the skill set - but it's also another skill to be able to help with the implementation of it and working through all the other people that need to be involved to make it happen to be successful. Lacey is not only good with the design part and creating something that's unique, but still feasible and functional. She's also good with people, seeing the bigger picture, and working through a lot of the challenges and issues that come up on a job.”
